Detailed review: |
I wanted something sporty and fast. I was in the market for 6 months and test drove lotf of them. But as soon as I test drove the S4 I knew what I want. I drove the BMW 330 and the s4 in the same day.. 330 is fantastic ... loved the sound it makes when rev counter hits the redline, but everything is an option and not as fast as the S4. S4 was a thrill to drive. when ever I take that car for spin I have a green all over my face. The 540 was fast too. But a lil too big. Subaru wrx.. huge turbo lag, cheap built quality. Lexus IS300.. I don't know why people are so high no this. I drove the triptonic and also one with a stick.. feels slow, handling is good but no where near the BMW or the Audi. It is more comparable to Honda .. after all its a toyota.
I love everything about the S4. But I could use some lil touch that will make it stand out from the A4. Audi should do something about the sloppy six speed.. should take lessons from BMW. And when you push hard in the corner there is body roll. But overall this car is an excellent package.
Keep an eye for the cops.. s4 is too fast .. before you know it you are way over the limit. |
