Favorite feature: |
3.5 engine and 6 speed transmission, with electronic stability control and posi-traction |
Least favorite feature: |
Inside is all plastic even though on the Limited, they try to break it up with something. |
Advice to buyer: |
You really have to get either the Touring model with the 3.5 liter and 6 speed or the Limited- other engines too slow |
Detailed review: |
I bought the new 2008 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible and this is what this evaluation is about.
The 3.5 liter engine coupled with the 6 speed transmission and the electronica stability package, with positraction, makes for a truly awesome vehicle in this class. It is not a bimmer as far as handling or acceleration, but it holds the road and takes corners beautifully and is very quick with this engine. The look of the car, especially with the standard 18' wheels is conservative more in the class as far as looks with the Solara Convertible. But, it looks much better and less bulky standing still than the Solara, particularly in silver and with the 18' tires take away that 'baby pram' look that comes with cars with as much heft as this one.
Overall, for the money it is an excellent buy. I have had many Sebrings/LeBarons, but this is truly the best boulevard car I have had yet. Lots of features and accessories that when purchased, still produce a reasonable price for this automobile |
