Detailed review: |
I looked at everything, everything (except American cars) and after very seriously considering a Boxster, and virtually buying an Acura 3.2CL Type 'S,' I stopped at an Audi dealer and tried the S4. I had not heard about the car. It drove very much akin to the Boxster, and lacked the Draconian interior of the 98-99 BMW M3. Furthermore, clearly, it was far more race inspired than the Acura. So, I took a chance and bought one used for under 30k. Body roll and sloppy 6-spd. shifter are easily fixed with add-on items, for a few hundred. Truly, a fantastic car. |
