Accellerates like a rocket and corners like a snow leopard

Detailed review:
- 344hp@3500 rpm puts the power to all 4 wheels right off the line. The fastest in its class not to mention the all condition quattro makes the car behave like a snow leopard.
- Tha S4 is very balanced in terms of comfort and high end performance. The fastest way to get the groceries home for sure.
Just under 10000 mi and the clutch is toast? This car has been fantastic as an everyday driver until the clutch burned up yesterday. Could this be the weakest link or just an isolated faulty part?
I have driven the car as it was meant to be with a lot of brake shifting- the clutch failure has truly been a dissapointment.
The dealer seemed more embarrassed than me when the tow truck pulled the 2004 S4 into the service dept at Audi.
