Interior feels like a cockpit dedicated to the driver. Great driver position.

Trunk, Cupholders behind driver position, window controls too far back.

 Advice to buyer:

Fun, fun, fun!!! If you need to haul stuff you will need a second vehicle.

 Detailed review:

I purchased my 2006 Solstice in November 2006. I have driven 7,000 miles since then. The Solstice is great personal transportation. The car is the most fun I ever had behind the wheel. It handles like a dream. Get used to talking to strangers because everyone wants to know what it is. Old, young, and everyone in between like what they see. I drove the car on two long trips last year and it was a blast driving through the twisting Vermont mountain roads. Some say it doesn't have enough horsepower, but I say this 4 cylinder is deep. Drop it into forth for passing at highway speeds and tell me this car is not powerful; I bet you can't. It's not a race car anyway; it just looks like a racecar. Get used to taking drives for no reason other than having a fun day in the Solstice. Spring is coming and I will be cruising top down again soon. Solstice is top rated for resale, limited numbers will keep it that way. Not that resale matters to me because the Solstice is my long term fun car. Solstice surpassed the Miata in sales first year, and the GXP version will keep it that way. I purchased a small used wagon so my Solstice wouldn't be on the road in winter. 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway (top down all the way). I enjoy watching people in much more expensive cars staring enviously at the Solstice at stop lights. Over a year later the Solstice is still a rare sight on the road which works for me.
