Detailed review: |
We took delivery of our 2K5 Land Rover LR3 in Cape Town South Africa in January. We arrived in Nairobi Kenya after traveling 58 days thru Pretoria, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania and arriving very tired in Kenya. The Land Rover experienced five flat tires and one broken windscreen. This was from no small part of Land Rover quality. The flats occured from rock punctures and the broken windscreen from a marabou stork. The ride and confort is exceptional and we averaged about 5 kilometers per liter the entire trip.
We are planning to drive to Senegal via Sudan, Chad, Nigeria, Burkina, Mali in August. Not sure if we are going to pack and extra windscreen or not. ;) |
