We spent sooo much time looking for the right vehicle, because we were paying cash and it's so much money to just jump into a decision.
We heavily considered the Toyota, Nissan, and Honda. Ultimately, the Toyota was great, but the price was not comparable to the Nissan or Honda. We were going to get the Nissan with DVD and the leather package for less than the Toyota without DVD, but we were concerned about all the mehcanical issues in reviews. It seemed like a 50/50 chance.
As a last resort we looked at the Honda and I'm so glad. We got the EX-L with R and N for less than what the Nissan would have cost and only 600 above invoice. The negatives about this car are pretty knit-picky:
1. Wish it had a coin holder (I thought this was dumb whem I read reviews, but there is literally no where to put change except on your side door).
2. Wish the artist's name and song title were displayed on the LCD screen (the Quest had this)
3. Wish there were empty compartments on the front console for the driver to put things in instead of the those of the door.
There will alwasy be something a car could have done better, but this cars is excellent where it really matters: preformance, comfort, and overall quality.
It should be a decision between the Toyota and Honda if you're considering more the quality of the vehicle and less of a better deal. If we could have gotten everything we got in this model on the Sienna, it would have only come down to who was cheaper. Both are excellent cars. Good luck! |
