What's New for the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada?
One new color called Light Tarnished Silver is added to the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada's paint chart, and a new interior color called Cashmere is available.

Advantages of the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada:

  • Smooth ride
  • Impressive powertrain
  • Excellent warranty coverage
  • Great bargains available as Oldsmobile closes up shop at the end of the year

Objections to the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada:

  • Poor expected resale value
  • Questionable quality of interior materials
  • Seats don't remain comfortable over the long haul
  • Sloppy handling near the limit

Editor's Advice:
The Oldsmobile Bravada is essentially the same truck as the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, and now, the Buick Rainier. Isuzu also offers a version of this GM vehicle. The same smooth-revving inline-six cylinder engine making 275 horsepower powers all iterations. Holistically speaking, none are class leaders in the midsize SUV segment when compared to the likes of the Acura MDX, Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner and Volkswagen Touareg. Bargain prices and a free extended warranty for the Bravada may be tempting, but we recommend that you resist. Any Oldsmobile is likely to lose a significant amount of value as soon as you drive it away from the dealership, and the Bravada itself is average at best.
