What's New for the 2005 Chrysler Sebring Sedan? After receiving a freshening last year, Chrysler's 2005 Sebring Sedan gets a few additional changes this year. A new TSi trim level debuts with performance-tuned steering, a sport suspension, 17-inch wheels with low-profile tires, upgraded antilock brakes, traction control, real wood interior trim, and a subtle body kit. Other Sebring sedans get a new standard stereo, and an available sound system with a six-disc in-dash CD changer and a built-in navigation system. Satin silver instrument bezels trim the gauges on the Touring model, and automatic climate control, automatic headlamps and genuine walnut wood trim join the options list. Standard and Touring models get a new two-tone Dark/Light Taupe interior, while Limited models get a standard Deep Jade/Light Taupe combination, with Light Taupe leather optional. Outside, new colors include Linen Gold, Midnight Blue, Magnesium Pearl and Inferno Red Crystal Pearl. Advantages of the 2005 Chrysler Sebring Sedan:
- Roomy interior
- Powerful V6 engine
Objections to the 2005 Chrysler Sebring Sedan: - Poor resale value
- Rental car stigma
- Lacks refinement of Japanese competitors
Editor's Advice: With plenty of style and space at a usually discounted price, the 2005 Chrysler Sebring Sedan contains a good amount of standard features, a strong V6 option, and deserves a look if you're considering a midsize sedan.
