Editor's Advice: Choices in the heavy-duty truck market are limited, with Dodge, Ford and General Motors fielding entries. Each buyer has specific needs and oftentimes brand allegiance dictates what kind of truck someone buys. The 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty compares favorably against the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, the Dodge Ram 2500 and the GMC Sierra 2500HD. Just be sure to closely compare payload and towing ratings to be sure you find the right model for your needs.
