Editor's Advice: Choices in the heavy-duty truck market are limited, with Dodge, Ford and General Motors fielding entries. Each buyer has specific needs and oftentimes brand allegiance dictates what kind of truck someone buys. The 2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty compares favorably against the Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD, the Dodge Ram 3500 and the GMC Sierra 3500HD. Just be sure to closely compare payload and towing ratings so that you find the right model for your needs.
