Traded 2003 Accord 2.4 auto for this. The 3.4 is a good performer despite what the car mags may say, I couldn't feel the difference from the 3.8 in back to back drives. I much prefer the feel of an ohv vs. ohc, it's a more visceral engine with a heartier sound. I use full throttle much less than with the Accord, which had far less torque. Got about 32mpg one tank at 80+ in TN. Driver's seat needs insert (my solution), some modifications, or replacement by a Honda seat. I like the dual HVAC controls, center key, column shift, this is one of the few cars on the market with these features. Don't think the heat/air up to Honda standards. Replaced stock tires immediately with BFG TA, feels more secure in corners despite softer suspension than H, prob due to 225.60.16 vs. 205.65.15tires. A good, honest, handsome American car. |
