The build quality of this vehicle is impressive. The ride and noise levels are on a par with larger and more expensive vehicles. The seats are very comfortable, with good thigh and lateral support. Acceleration is very adequate, especially off the line.
In my opinion the only drawbacks to this vehicle are the air conditioning and driver's seat adjustment. The a/c fan makes a lot of noise, but doesn't seem to move much air. In my Florida test drive, the fan had to be kept at higher speeds to keep the car cool on three different Civics. The driver's side seat height adjustment knob is difficult to grasp due to inadequate space between seat and door-I almost had to open the door to operate it. Also,the knob is stiff and hard to turn when attempting to adjust the seat higher.
