Advice to buyer: |
Consider the Sienna AWD - no spare tire- compromise when you buy. |
Detailed review: |
A terrific van all around, very happy with the vehicle and no gripes except for one....the AWD is great, but the the AWD model does not come with a spare tire, it comes with 4 run flat tires. When it comes time to replace the tires, you have a major headache; you have a choice of (1) fork out $1200 every 25,000 miles for a new set of run flats (the wear on the run flat tires is very poor) or (2) buy the spare tire kit (for $120, I hear) and lose the ability to fold down the 60% half the 60/40 3rd row seat. So, if you have lots of cash, or if you really didn't want the cargo carrying space of a minivan...you're all set....for all other folks, get ready to compromise, money or space. |
