i have 16000 miles on a 2003 centinal explorer which is a limited edition. so far I have had the transmission rebulit, not sure if its a problem with all fords or its just a lemon. Checking with my mom who owns the same vehicle has also had transmission problems and had to have it rebuilt and her car had 15000 miles on it.
