Detailed review:
The ride of the sedan was very smooth and comfortable. We considered the Malibu LS, but it was much smaller and it's 3.1L engine was no comparison to the Impala's 3.4L in our opinion. The gas mileage and sound system are both icing on the cake. We had the 1995 Lumina, which is similar to this model. The 1995 Lumina's interior quality was not good (cupholders broke off and rear view mirror fell off). We'll see if the Impala's interior wear will be much better.
