I picked up my Millenium Yellow Z06 in Sept 02. Currently have 2800 miles on it. I am a very lucky person as I get to drive the Z on the German Autobahn.WOW ! This car is powerful and beatiful, but at the same time as docile as a Honda Civic. Now if you plant your right foot towards the floor board, this car becomes a totally new personality. Rip snorting, tire squealing beast from Hell ! The interior is very good. Ergonomically laid out very well. I thought that the HUD would be a distraction, but after driving with it I believe EVERY car should have one. You do not have to take your eyes off the road to know what the car is doing internaly. Very dangerous at Autobahn + speeds. The quality of the body panel alignment could have been better. But it's not so bad that it screams look at me, my body panels are out of alignement. You don't really notice until you're up close & persoanl during the wash & wax.
The car sticks to the road like rolling on felcro. Getting the rear end to swing out is very difficult. I have so much fun on the off ramps and in the round abouts.I can actually go so much faster there than most other people. They say it can generate a 1+ G-force in the corners, I believe it. I've owned a lot of other 'muscle' cars in the past, but this is the best that America has put together thus far. I test drove the others I listed here, but the Z06 just won my heart over. They all are good cars, all with a different mission. The Z06 is just my choice for mission accomplishment. :-)
