If you are looking for performance you found it. There is no more performance available for less than 50K. I have a 350 hp '01 C5 with 30K miles. It drives exactly as it did when I left the showroom. The biggest negative with the vehicle is overall comfort. I am only 5'8 and do not have any trouble entering and exiting the car. However, if you are tall, BEWARE! The available glass top is a big plus over the hard top. It is easily removed and replaced and there is specific storage space for it when off. The ride is bumpy and noisy, but who cares! You are not buying this car for comfort and ride. You are buying this car for power and performance. (also to turn heads) Be ready to return to your service dept on a regular basis. I have had multiple problems with the following:
All warning lights coming on at the same time
Passenger side power window stuck up
Typical GM noise from dash rattles
