The car is top of class in refinement and comfort. I enjoy driving it immensely. I especially like the cockpit layout and ergonomics. Handling is precise and secure and the power from the 4 cyl is more than adequate. My camry, a standard, is noisier and rides harsher than an LE that I test drove. Dealer said it was the tires. I have not put on new tires yet, so cannot confirm this. My tires, Bridgestone Potenza RE 92, gives a sports car ride - stiff without body lean and noisey. Fun to drive, but not comfortable on long trips. Other gripes: annoying engine hum coming from the exhaust manifold - dealer says this is normal. Seat position is too high from floor for short people. I am 5'6'. |
