My preference for 2001 Honda Civix EX is engine performance history. When I bought mine I had problems with annoying noice (particularly while in parking gear)due to tight driving belt, but dealer got it fixed. I have similar problems with audio anti-theft system activating for no reasons (4 times now since I bought my Civic on 11/20/2000)thus requiring to re-enter anti-theft code again and again to play. I have not talked to the dealer or manufacturer about the audio problems yet. Not sure if it is due to electrical problems. Appearance is great. Acceleration is not that great but in general I like the car, especially the sunroof feature. It could have been a better car if not shorter than the 2000 or older models. With recent 12 inches or more of snow in the Midwest, I have little problems with
