After 1,000 miles, the scrap Goodyears were replaced with Michelins...the ride and handling took a 1-8-0 for the better and it was good to begin with. Adding a K&N air filter and dual exhausts created a good driver for both groceries and long rides. Did a side-by-side with a Taurus...once the brakes were compared, the Impala was an obvious choice. 4-wheel disks are a 'must' today. GM gives a buyer a lot for the money. This is an honest performer that won't thin out the pocket book. Dealership service is excellent....made the purchase and service process a good experience.
