It is an awesome car for the price, however, be prepared to spend money on brake replacements. GM should research this problem and come up with a solution. |

I have one concern about this car. It is the 'BRAKES'. I have a '99 C5 Coupe(Automatic) and since I bought this car last year in January '01, I have had ongoing problems with my rotors warping. Recently, I had my front rotors turned and my back rotors replaced along with new 'ceramic' brake pads all around. My car has 66,000+ miles and this is the 2nd set of rotors I had replaced in the rear and it is the 2nd set on the front(which needed turned). I do not race the car and whenever I travel down steep hills, I downshift to 3rd from overdrive to take much of the braking requirements off the car.
