Advice to buyer: |
go for the XLE w/ leather & power door--you have no idea how handy this feature is. |
Detailed review: |
We had looked at Caravans, Oldsmobiles, Windstars and Odysseys but after our lengthy search for a minivan, we decided on the Toyota Sienna XLE.
We got our van complete with leather, power door and a moonroof (the dealer threw that feature in for free!). The power driver seat is great and the leather is extremely easy to keep clean compared to cloth--our three and four year old put that feature to the test everyday!
The ride is comfortable and the van is a good length for ease of parking and getting in your garage!
The split rear seat with the fold and tumble feature is excellent--something you won't find on the Dodge, Windstar or Honda. You can flip half of the rear seat forward for extra cargo room but still allow a passenger to sit on the other side when you need room for a fifth passenger plus all of the gear.
The Sienna also has the highest safety rating out of any vehicle (not just minivans) ever tested by the National Highway Trans board--another excellent plus.
Add two power sliding doors and rear audio controls and you would have the perfect minivan. |
