Received 39 mpg while driving on the freeway with the a/c on part time.
My overall impression of the Honda Civic was its good quality and amenities that came with a relatively low purchase price. I chose the 4 door LX with a/c, cruise, auto transmission. There is plenty of room in the front for an adult. Most of all, there was comfortable room(and leg room) for 2 adults sitting in the back seat which was a another feature I was looking for. There is also more room in the trunk of the Honda Civic than with my Mustang.
In addition, the quality of the other features such as the seats were above average. Its quick and reliable. The only knock would be when going up a slight to moderate incline(hill), the engine needed to rev higher(RPM). That may be because of its 1.7L engine.
Otherwise Im very happy with the vehicle and its certainly, to me, the best in its class.
