The 06 Impala SS is an impressive ride. The fit and finish is excellent. The horsepower is unbelivable for a sedan. The trunk reminds you of a pick up bed. The ride is very firm. Smooth roads are enjoyable, rough roads are not. The fuel economy is very good averaging around 26 mpg. The DOD feature that GM is now adding to the V8's works excellent.
