I have owned a Chevelle SS, Firebird, Mustang fastback, Eldorado,RX-7, Miata, and a Z3, but was looking for a new different 'sports car'. While I really liked all my other cars I wasn't totally satisfied with their overall package: looks, performance, and thrill. I had test driven just about everything from the Mercedes to the Vette including the new T-Bird; but not the Z4 (wasn't out yet). My BMW dealer convinced me to wait a couple of weeks until they received their 2 demos and test drive the Z4 before I made a decision. I took my test drive the 3rd day after the demos arrived!! I was awed by the car!! Since I just couldn't wait 4-6 weeks for more models to arrive I bought the demo on the spot: with Sports package, woodgrain console, heated leather seats etc!!! I love this car!! I put chrome wheels on a couple of months later and it really looks 'HOT'!! I've owned and or driven alot of cars in my lifetime and for the money this car is a true winner hands down!! My only regret is that I didn't own this car when I lived in Europe!! |
