Honda's pride in quality craftsmanship shows through. |

The seats have a concave curve that's hell on a bad back. |

This is the most cost-efficient car you can buy. |
Detailed review: |
I spent dozens of hours researching cars before I determined that the Honda Civic offered the best vehicle for the least money.
I got the car under invoice and I've been very pleased with it.
All components are of high-quality and most are well-designed. One of the few examples of good-quality but poor design is in the seats. They're well-crafted with great materials, but designed to curve inward offering worse than no lumbar support.
The car is fuel-efficient to be sure (the LX has no meter to show just how much), but the tank is tiny and you'll visit the gas station frequently.
Generally, it's a joy to ride. Acceleration is limited, but if you're buying this car for gas-savings then you want to accelerate slowly anyhow. The top speed, on the other hand, is remarkable. I've done 95 without the slightest complaint from the motor. Handling is exceptional. All but the EX lack ABS, but I've had no trouble braking so far.
Bottom line, I love my Civic dearly. |
