The 2004 Lotus Esprit is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, available in one trim only, the Coupe. The 2004 Lotus Esprit's competitors include the BMW 6 Series, the Maserati Coupe, and the Porsche 911 Targa. Upon introduction, the Esprit is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V8, 350-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway.
