The 2002 LS 430 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in one trim only, the Sedan. The 2002 LS 430's closest competitors include the Acura 3.5 RL, the Infiniti Q45, and the Volvo S80. Upon introduction, the LS 430 is equipped with a standard 4.3-liter, V8, 290-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2002 LS 430 is a carryover from 2001.
