2007 Chevrolet Tahoe

Never satisfied, consumers are always looking for the latest and greatest trends to hit the dealer lots and showrooms. With the rising cost of fuel, the demand for crossovers has escalated and manufacturers are scurrying to fill the void with vehicles like the new Acura RDX, Ford Edge, Mazda CX-7, and Saturn’s first hybrid, the Vue Green Line. Many of the new-for-2007 models combine light-duty off-road capability with a car-like ride and luxury appointments. Expect even more crossovers to emerge in the years to come.

That being said, families preferring minivans needn’t fret. The minivan segment is still strong and Hyundai and Nissan have new or revised offerings for you, too. Hyundai enters the market with the all-new Entourage, which is aimed squarely at the Dodge Caravan, Toyota Sienna, and Honda Odyssey. Not to be out done, Nissan is making a new Quest to stay competitive.

For those diehards out there, a plethora of new-and-improved large SUVs are set for introduction in 2007. Among them are the Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, Chrysler Aspen, and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. These offerings provide everything from size and comfort to luxury and performance. Additionally, for those who desire SUV functionality but want some added capability under foot, Mercedes-Benz offers the ML63 AMG, while Toyota has the retro off-roading crowd covered with the new FJ Cruiser.

From efficient domestic crossovers to stylish Korean minivans and German powerhouse SUVs, the 2007 model year is loaded with new offerings. Check out the following pages for more details.
