What it Is
Bentley Brooklands Preview – 2007 New York Auto Show: There's exclusive, and there's exclusive, and then there's ridiculous, which is the best place to slot the Bentley Brooklands with its $200,000-plus price tag and 550 unit limit. Rest assured, Lindsay and Paris won't want one of these – but then again, Britney may, once she's done with rehab. A four-seat coupe with old man style and big boy power, the car has some nice muscle – while the name is a rehash of old Bentley glory days and an old sedan.
What's Under the Hood
With just 550 units starting production in 2008, the Brooklands coupe boasts the Bentley V8 twin-turbo engine that makes 520 horsepower and 774 lb.-ft. of torque – slightly more than in the Arnage. And just like inside the Arnage, all that power is routed through a six-speed automatic transmission, driving 20-inch wheels.
