Introduction
Hyundai's product line for 2009 and 2010 includes just
a few new models, including the 2010 Genesis Coupe and 2009 Hyundai Elantra
Touring, but for those few models that received updates, additional luxury
amenities are the most plentiful, while practically all models received
standard stability and traction control. Standard safety features found on all
models include a full complement of airbags, as well as ABS brakes. On the
interior, options range from leather seating surfaces to sporty
"manumatic" shifting. Hyundai's primary emphasis on affordability
occasionally stands in the way of high marks in comparison tests, but
ultimately culminates in cars and SUVs that are very competitive in the
marketplace.
