2007 Chevrolet Avalanche Review

Inside the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche is an attractive, upscale dash borrowed from the updated Tahoe and Suburban models. It’s a huge improvement over the mishmash of buttons and outdated script that it replaces, and works with wood and chrome accents to dress up the interior. Other contributors include a mesh headliner, matte-finish plastics, and some soft-touch surfaces. The Avalanche’s exterior has received equally positive treatment. Smoked headlights are aggressive and defining, the body lines have been softened and are less angular, and the tall grille gives the truck a bold face. The only parts that don’t seem to fit are the drab rectangular taillights, though they are preferred over the wedged lenses circa 2006.
