Who thought the Ford Explorer Sport Trac's turn signal was a good idea? Cocked at a strange angle, the awkwardly placed and shaped stalk makes it easy to flash other motorists or flip on the high-beams when attempting to signal a lane change. Another ergonomic glitch is the location of the buttons for the heated seats, power adjustable pedals, and heated windshield, arrayed low just forward of the cupholders and gear selector. Other controls, such as those seen in this photo, are easy to find and use.
