Effective and efficient, the Passat’s climate system is operated by three primary dials including one for temperature, one for fan speed, and a third for mode (directing the air flow). Secondary to those dials are three buttons for the air conditioning, recirculating air, and rear defrost. Automatic climate control is available as an option, but we were happy and comfortable with the 2.0T’s standard setup.
