As is the case with the G5's radio, the climate system is easily operated with large, clear controls. There are three chrome-trimmed dials – one for mode, one for temperature, and a smaller center dial for fan speed. Secondary buttons take care of the air conditioning, defrost, and recirculation functions. With the varied weather we've experienced in California this winter, the Pontiac G5's quick and effective climate control system was always a welcome passenger.
