Secondary controls were limited on our G5 GT test car, though they were found in sufficient quantity for us to determine a few highs and lows regarding placement. Within the former category are door-mounted buttons for the power door locks, power windows, and power mirrors. Among the negatives was a trunk release lever hidden within a driver's side dash cubby – even when the cubby is open, you have to hunt for the trunk lever. Then there's the curious traction control system – there's no dedicated button, but a "traction control off" light shines in the gauge cluster when the emergency brake is engaged.
