Kia is a company on the move, as it shows improvement with each new launch and redesign. One such example is the updated 2007 Sorento SUV, available in both rear-wheel- and four-wheel-drive configurations. Four-wheel-drive versions offer a part-time or a Torque-on-Demand full-time system, depending upon the option package chosen. Power comes from a new 3.8-liter V6 generating 262 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque, helping the Sorento to tow up to 5,000 pounds. Styling has been updated inside and out, while the standard features list includes items like side-curtain and front knee airbags, air conditioning, an MP3 player, and a nice array of power features. That’s on the LX; EX models add heated mirrors, a power sunroof, and a power driver’s seat among other things. Sport and Luxury packages build up the content list even more.
