Three engines are offered in the 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. Standard is a 173-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine hooked to a four-speed automatic and rated to get 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The upgrade is a 189-hp 2.7-liter V6 with flex-fuel E85 capability and fuel economy ratings of 20 in the city and 28 on the highway. The top engine choice is a 235-horse 3.5-liter V6 good for 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The strongest V6 gets a six-speed automatic with manual shift feature. Remote starting is optional. Every Sebring Convertible gets standard ABS, while stability control is optional.
