A six-speed manual transmission sends all of the 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe’s power to the street. The transmission shifts smoothly, yet is firm and direct when engaging gears. The Viper SRT-10 Coupe also incorporates a Dana Hydra-Lok speed-sensing limited-slip differential. What’s odd, given that most Americans can’t row a gearbox, is that Dodge isn’t offering an automatic with paddle shifts. But then again, that wouldn’t be in keeping with the character of the Viper we have all come to love.
