2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Buyer's Guide

A choice of three engines is offered to power the 2016 GMC Sierra 1500. The base powerplant is a 4.3-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 305 ft-lbs of torque. GM claims the V6 produces class-leading torque output. The mid-level engine is a 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower and 383 ft-lbs of torque.
