2016 Audi A7 Buyer's Guide
As much as we love the Audi A6, its sexier A7 sibling is Venus to the A6’s Serena. While both are positively amazing by any measure, there’s no questioning the fact the A7 cuts the sleeker figure. Given its role as the sportier version of the A6, the A7 frees the A6 to move farther toward the luxury end of the spectrum, enabling it to concentrate on ride over handling, while the more performance oriented A7 caters to the more athletically leaning four door Audi intender. For the 2016 model year, the hatchback Audi A7 luxury sedan gets new front and rear styling (as does the A6) more power from its revised gasoline engines, plus more responsiveness and agility from its improved all-wheel drive system.

It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The diesel version gets 240 horsepower and an astounding 428 ft-lbs of torque from a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, which is also mated to an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The S7 runs a turbocharged 450-horsepower (up 30 from last year) 4.0-liter V8 with 406 ft-lbs of torque and an automated manual seven-speed.
Why buy the 2016 Audi A7?
The 2016 Audi A7 is perfectly suited to high speed long distance cruising. The delightfully sleek Audi is quiet, smooth and capable of ravenously devouring extremely long stretches of highway in one great big bite. This car hungers for the open road the way a teenage boy goes after the contents of the family refrigerator after football practice. Four passengers are seated within its confines in exceptional comfort, while enjoying a remarkably sumptuous experience. That said, the A7 also does duty as a sport sedan quite well. Striking a brilliant balance between style, luxury and performance, the 2016 Audi A7 is a remarkably multitalented ride. What’s more, infused with a host of cutting edge digital technology, the A7 is also a thoroughly modern sports sedan.
