What makes it move?
Powering the Chevy is a 3.6-liter V6 with direct fuel injection and continuously variable valve timing. The engine generates 281 horsepower and 266 ft-lbs of torque. For the top trim level, Chevy’s engineering team fits a dual exhaust system, which increases output to 288 horsepower and 270 ft-lbs of torque. A six-speed automatic handles transmission duties, routing power to the front wheels in the standard configuration. All-wheel drive is optional. With an appropriate trailering kit, the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse will tow up to 5,200 pounds.
