2016 Dodge Challenger Buyer's Guide
With a revered legacy going all the way back to the halcyon days of the original pony car era, the Dodge Challenger is one of the most recognized names in high performance automobiles. After introducing the highest output V8 engine ever installed in a production automobile for the 2015 model year, Dodge brings the 2016 Challenger to market with limited edition models featuring its “Plum Crazy” purple heritage hue. Originally debuting in 1970, the shade will be offered only for the 2016 model year before being returned to the vaults once again. In addition to the 707-horsepower Hellcat engine, the 2015 model year brought an eight-speed automatic transmission, a revised platform, and subtle styling changes—thus 2016 Challenger models come in with few significant changes.
