2016 FIAT 500L Buyer's Guide
If you’ve paid attention to the thought processes of the people who make their living coming up with the names of cars, you’ve by now surmised the L suffix on the 2016 Fiat 500L Wagon stands for “long” or “larger”. Upping the interior space of the feisty little 500 hatchback by some 42 percent, the Fiat 500L makes the goodness of the petite Italian runabout more accessible to a broader range of people. Introduced for the 2014 model year, the 2016 Fiat 500L is going into its third year of production. The idea behind the 500L is to take everything people appreciate about the personal-sized 500 and transfer it into a more family-friendly package. Uniquely Italian in style, the 500L is an interesting idea.
