2016 Nissan NV Cargo Buyer's Guide
The Nissan NV Cargo is a full-size cargo van, first introduced for the 2012 model year. Also available in a Passenger version, the NV Cargo is available in a variety of configurations, with cargo volumes of 234.1 cubic feet (Standard Roof) and 323.1 cubic feet (High Roof), and GVWRs of 8,550 lbs (NV1500), 9,100 lbs (NV2500 HD), or 9,990 lbs (NV3500 HD). The van looks odd at first glance because of the truck-style front end; instead of sitting over the engine like you would in many full-sized vans, the engine is out in front where it would be on a pickup. While the NV Cargo van does feature body on frame construction, it is of a different design than that of the Titan.

Both engines feature the Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System and the Nissan Direct Ignition System, and both use a 5-speed automatic transmission to send power to the rear wheels. Maximum towing capacity for V6 models is 7,000 lbs, while V8 models can tow up to 9,500 lbs.
