Overview

After a 20-year absence, the Ford Bronco is back and it is ready to compete. The Bronco targets vehicles that offer a similar level of 4X4 capabilities, such as the Jeep Wrangler and the Land Rover Defender.

Model Highlights

The 4-door Ford Bronco is available in six main trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Raptor and Heritage Edition while the 2-door models are only available in the Base and Badlands trims. For 2026, the Stroppe Edition is now only available in the 4-door 4X4 configuration. The Bronco is powered by one of three engines. First is a 2.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder producing 300 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft of torque, paired with either a 7-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission. Secondly a 2.7L turbocharged V6 delivering 330 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Exclusive to the 4-door Bronco is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6, also paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, generating 418 horsepower and 440 lb.-ft of torque. The Ford Bronco is well equipped with 16-inch wheels, LED headlamps and daytime running lights, hill hold control, climate control, cruise control, a 12-inch touchscreen, 4 USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, two 12V power outlets, push button start, heated mirrors, satellite radio, and a smart device controlled remote engine starter. The Outer Banks trim features 18-inch alloy wheel, LED fog lights, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, heated front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, side steps, a 120V AC power outlet, passive keyless entry, and an integrated navigation system with real-time traffic display. The Badlands trim adds 6 skid plates, 2 tow hooks, an off-road suspension, driver selectable locking differential, LED brake lights, and a second-row removable roof. The Raptor being a performance focused trim, it adds a dual exhaust system, front and rear splash guards, a removable hard top with sunroof, integrated turn signals, body-colored fender flares, a tow hitch, and remote activated approach lights. On the inside, it features sport bucket seats, a Bang & Olufsen 12-speaker audio system, voice-activated navigation, adaptive cruise control, 6 USB ports, surround-view cameras, front and rear parking sensors, and a heated steering wheel. Standard safety features across the Bronco lineup include six airbags, stability and traction control, a rearview camera, forward collision mitigation, and pedestrian detection. Higher-level trims also come equipped with advanced safety technologies such as active lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear collision warning, and a driver attention alert system.
