The RZ offers seating for five passengers and all of the features you would expect in a luxury vehicle. The Lexus RZ competes against the Volvo XC40, the Tesla Model Y and the Genesis GV60. As you would expect from Lexus, the features of the RZ are plentiful and this new offer is here to compete.
The front-wheel drive 300e and all-wheel drive RZ 450e are offered in four trims, Base, Premium with 18-inch wheels, Premium with 20-inch wheels and Luxury. The RZ 300e is powered by one electric motor that produces 201 horsepower. The range on the Premium with 20-inch wheels and Luxury is 224 miles while the Premium with 18-inch wheels gets 266 miles. The RZ 450e is powered by two electric motors, one that produces 107 horsepower and one that produces 201 for a total horsepower of 308. The range on the Premium with 20-inch wheels, and Luxury, is 196 miles while the Premium with 18-inch wheels gets 220 miles. The Lexus RZ 300e features a power liftgate, fixed glass roof, LED headlights, heated and ventilated power front seats, driver seat memory, automatic dual-zone climate control, an HD satellite radio, a 10-speaker sound system, a 14-inch touchscreen, integrated navigation, adaptive cruise control, wireless device connectivity and device charging, 5 USB ports, and a heated steering wheel. The Lexus RZ 450e comes loaded with standard features including hill-descent and hill hold control, 18-inch alloy wheels, full LED headlights, auto-dimming heated side mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, automatic dual-zone climate control, a 14-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, voice activated navigation, 5 USB ports, wireless device charging and a 10-speaker sound system. The Luxury trim adds 20-inch alloy wheels, heated rear seats, simulated suede upholstery, a 13-speaker sound system, head-up display, and automated parking sensors. Safety features are abundant on the Lexus RZ including 8 airbags, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation with left turn assist, rear collision warning, front pedestrian detection, an active driver monitor, and traffic sign information system.
