The Lexus UX stays the same on the outside but receives multiple tech upgrades including the larger 12.3-inch instrument cluster standard on the Premium and F SPORT trims.
The 2026 Lexus UX benefits from an aggressive, sharp look that demands attention. It provides versatility, excellent handling characteristics and best-in class fuel efficiency. The UX is slotted into the compact-sized luxury crossover SUV segment competing with the likes of the Mercedes GLA, the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 to name a few. Its base price puts the UX right in the thick of the competition. Hybrid models reach a class-leading combined fuel economy of 39 mpg, making it the best in the segment for hybrid SUV vehicles.
Lexus UX 300h is offered as an all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive model which utilize a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine mated to a CVT transmission. Two electric motors add to the total output bringing the power up to 196 horsepower. The UX is available as four separate trims: Base, Premium, F Sport Design and F Sport Handling. All UX trims come with plenty of standard features, as is generally expected in this class. They include power door locks and windows, 6-speaker audio system, 4 USB ports, adaptive cruise control, SiriusXM satellite radio, power front seats, keyless ignition, and an 8-inch infotainment system to name a few. Lexus is also among the first to feature Amazon Alexa integration while already having Apple CarPlay phone integration. Premium trims add to that a hands-free tailgate, sunroof, a 12.3-inch information display, color-keyed overfenders, intuitive parking assist, power tilt-and-slide moonroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated and ventilated front seats, garage door transmitter, and rain-sensing wipers. The more performance-oriented F-Sport Design trims add dark chrome to the bumpers, 18-inch wheels, a digital key, cornering lights, LED front fog lights, bucket front seats, an illuminated entry system, and leather steering wheel. The F SPORT Handling is the sportiest of the bunch and includes a race inspired 12.3-inch instrument cluster, bolstered seats, perforated leather, black interior, a 10-speaker premium audio system, available as an option for the F SPORT design, a memory system, paddle shifters, F-SPORT tuned suspension, and additional drive modes such as the sport+ and custom drive modes. Of course, the Lexus UX offers world-class, advanced safety systems including rear parking sensors, active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, front pedestrian detection, and driver attention alert.
