The Toyota Corolla Cross comes in three different trims, L, LE and XLE, all trims are available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Corolla Cross Hybrid is only offered in all-wheel drive with S, SE, and XSE in the trim line-up. No matter which model buyers choose, the Corolla Cross is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, making 169 horsepower and 151 lb.-feet of torque. Whereas hybrid Corolla Cross comes with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower mated to an electric motor that increases the horsepower to 196. On all Corolla Cross models, a 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to the wheels. The Corolla Cross is a two-row subcompact SUV, and it allows plenty of passenger space. A strut-type front suspension and multi-link rear setup keep the wheels in contact with the road. The Corolla Cross includes 4-wheel disc brakes, as well as brake assist and an electronic parking brake. The base L Corolla Cross includes an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, Bluetooth device connectivity, 2 USB ports, wireless smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rearview camera, LED headlights, bucket front seats, and a 6-speaker sound system. The LE model adds a wireless device charger, 4 USB ports, roof rails, heated exterior mirrors with turn signal indicators, passive keyless entry, push button start, rear exit warning, leather steering wheel, and a rear collision warning system. XLE models include LED daytime running lights, LED fog lights, ambient lighting, 18-inch aluminum wheels, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, an 8-way power driver seat, a cargo cover, dual-zone front climate control, 12.3-inch driver information cluster, 10.5-inch touchscreen center display, and front and rear parking sensors. The hybrid versions have the same features progression as the non-hybrids for the S, SE, and XSE trims. Safety features across the Toyota Corolla Cross lineup include an active lane departure system, forward collision mitigation with left turn assist, front cross traffic warning, a pedestrian detection system, driver attention alert, adaptive cruise control with stop-go, and traffic sign information display.
